At first glance, you might think this page is a catch-all for everything that didn’t have a place on the website, but it’s much more than that. Webster defines “a hitching post” as a fixed post with a ring to which a horse can be hitched to prevent it from straying. As a breeder my program is ‘hitched’ to the successful breeding practices of those that have blazed the trail before me to preserve the Lambert Morgan family. Just as the hitching post prevents a horse from straying, my mentors help me to focus on why we do what we do. The hitching post is also a place to share information, the latest news and what’s happening with our horses and our extended Lambert family.
