Quietude Mount McKinley
(Crispin of Quietude x Quietude Sugar Plum)
Foaled 2003, 15.1 hh  red chestnut

McKinley is one of the tallest of the Quietude-bred horses at 15.1 hh. Although big and substantial he moves with ease. He is a confident trail horse with a big forward walk and fluid trot. He loves the trail and is quite willing to go out alone or with a group. In a group he's content to lead, be in the middle or bring up the rear.

Over Memorial Day weekend we attended the Lambert Morgan Reunion at his birthplace, The Quietude Stud, and logged over 17 hours in 5 days. My 13 y/o son rode him on one of the rides and we crossed the Greenbrier River, walked, trotted and cantered on the trail.

He goes in a three-piece snaffle with light contact or a loose rein and he's been ridden in both English and Western tack. We feel he will make an excellent dressage mount, endurance horse or all-around pleasure horse. He is ready for his lifetime partner.

Rolling Acres Legend

(Braveheart of Times Past x Times Past Pocahontas)
Foaled May 2012, bay colt

Legend brings two of our favorite Lambert stallions together in this cross. His grandsires, Courtship of Quietude and Quietude Castile, are both deceased, hence the name, Legend, for this colt. We are very pleased with this cross and we feel he will carry on the legacy for which his family is known. This little guy has a motor yet he is the sweetest, most loving of any foal we've had the privilege of knowing. And he has a fun side, he doesn't take life too seriously but he's ready to learn and willing to try whatever is asked of him. One of the video links below at 5 weeks of age shows him careening around the field and the other taken immediately after shows him being quiet and learning to cross the bridge. This was his first time in the ring and first time to see this bridge. The most recent video was taken at 5 mos of age and shows him being clipped for the first time.

Rolling Acres MorninGlory

(Braveheart of Times Past x Times Past Jubilee Rose)
Foaled May 2011, flaxen chestnut filly

WOW! This lovely filly has six crosses to Criterion in five generations and carries 50% of his blood. Just like her momma, this little girl has stolen my heart. She is everything we hoped this cross would be. She is up-headed and has that vertical throat latch we love and admire with a neck that comes out of a well-laid back shoulder. She is close coupled with a strong loin and nice hip. We are excited to see how she matures. “Pretty is…as pretty does” fits this filly perfectly. Her inner beauty is reflected in her willingness to please.

Congratulations to Julie Destrempes of Quebec Canada on the purchase of Glory
